Inglewood Plainpalais — Restaurant in Geneva

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Inglewood in Plainpalais neighborhood, Geneva, Switzerland.

Great burger spot with a wide variety of options, including some special limited-time creations. I went for my favorite, the bison burger, made with locally sourced bison from Geneva. The combination of ingredients was excellent—the cheese, bacon, and fresh salad complemented the meat perfectly. The bison itself was flavorful and well-cooked, and the bun was of good quality, though I personally would have preferred it slightly less soft. The sauce tied everything together nicely.

The fries were crispy and tasty, though they could have been a bit warmer. The side salad was fresh with a solid, classic dressing. For dessert, I had the raspberry cheesecake, which was excellent—the biscuit base, cheese layer, and coulis all tasted fresh and well-balanced.

The pricing is quite reasonable, making it a popular spot for students and young professionals. The atmosphere is relaxed, with nice decorative touches, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Definitely a great place for a quality burger at...

Amazing place to head to for lunch. Funky interior and fantastic food. The fries of popular competitor, 'Holy Cow', might be just a cut above those served at this restaurant. However, who am I kidding - the fries aren't everything when you go to a burger place! In the burger department, these are so significantly better than those of the competitor. Tastier, fresher and more personal. Indeed, in case you think burgers and fries are not a healthy choice for lunch, the plate even comes with a small salad with a fresh dressing.

One thing I would like to mention though is that the place is quite small and due to it being popular, it is typically quite difficult to get a table. As such, be prepared to come a bit earlier or to wait until a table is available. Not sure if you can reserve a spot...

One other item of note is that the restaurant in eaux vives is equally delicious and has some more seating area.

Just finished lunch with my cousin at this pleasant and authentic burger place. Thisxapoears to be a family run small chain of burger bars and has all the hallmarks of the quality one might expect at this type of place. Very helpful and efficient service delivering tasty burgers. We both opted for the bison burger which comes at a premium, however once you sink your teeth into this tasty dish the price becomes irrelevant. This was served with fries and salad with a portion of avacado on the side - Perfect! For desert we acquired the last chocolate mousse of the day and this was delicious, just the right amount with a rich chocolate taste. Will we go again...
