A short walk away from Geneva’s Old Town, this lovely park was such a great find! The weather was perfect for grabbing a sandwich and having it out on a park bench. Something we don’t do often enough.
As the sun was out, the weather was good and with it being summer holidays, there were a lot of families and kids around the park. Along with some groups participating in fitness activities such as yoga, tai chi, HIIT and more.
It was an interesting park, with big chess boards, plenty of benches to sit on, a cafe at the far corner as well as the famous Reformation Wall in the middle.
All in all, if you’re ever in the area, Parc des Bastions is definitely worth a visit! Bring along lunch, find a bench and sit down, breathe in the fresh air and...
