La Petite Reine — Restaurant in Geneva

The bartender with the glasses and curly hair is extremely rude, we have never seen more atrocious service. He has been disrespectful on more than one occasion and my friends and I have unanimously decided to never return again although we enjoy the bar and the atmosphere the service is absolutely unacceptable and shouldn't be stood for under any circumstances. In January of this year our friend was unaware he wasn't allowed to smoke in the upstairs area of the bar and the bartender in question tore the cigarette out of his mouth and ashed it on his head, needles to say that is insane behavior no matter the misdemeanor. Nonetheless we retired to the bar over the next couple of months not seeing the bartender and enjoying our time at the bar. Tonight we went back as usual and the same bartender was there and he kept inquiring on whether we were allowed to sit where we were and if we had even purchased drinks while over half of us were clearly holding beers, words were exchanged and we decided to leave the bar at once, this time for good. Great bar, awful service. We seriously suggest this bartender is dealt with by the establishment...

Possibly one of the best bars in the world.

No, seriously they've got something special here. The place is mostly terrace (patio) given that the building is about two meters wide, but good things come in tiny packages.

I don't think I've ever known another bar as open as this one. It's hard to explain but I'll try: think about the bridge of the starship enterprise back in the Roddenberry days: there was somebody from envy culture you could imagine and they were just all fully engaged in their mission to explore the galaxy etc.

Well, PR is like that, but we're exploring having a good time together, after work, or for others late into the night rather than the galaxy.

The beer is good and cheap. The tequila is very good and must be avoided. You will make lifetime friends...

Yeah it was actually personal. One of the (male) bartender was throwing a joke on me, that I didn't find appropriate and I thought he catches it the first time I didn't respond to him. But no, he did it again, twice. Which I think so inconvenience. I live just next to the bar 3 years ago and use to take my friends there to have some drinks. But ever since the occasion, I just don't feel like.

So yeah, I realize its only fair to give it 4 stars since you reach me back. Becouse your place and ambience are very comforting usualy, despite the attitude of one of your crew long time ago.

Anyway, the bar is a perfect place to hangout and to meet people. Drinks and foods are decent as well. Keep up the good...
