After moving to Geneva, I quickly found Le Gobelet d'Argent as it's just a few blocks from my house, and it became my favorite hangout right away. Their large outdoor area is popular in the neighborhood, especially in the early evening, but you can generally find an open table.
While this little spot might appear from the outside to be just a regular Geneva bar, the hidden gem of Le Gobelet is the food. The burger, cooked "Ă point", might just be my favorite in Geneva, and their fries are perfection. But everything on their menu is excellent, and their prices are great, especially for Geneva.
The service is always super friendly and attentive, making this neighborhood restaurant the perfect place to come for an after work drink...

We got a table right next to the window and it was a bit cold every time the door opened and closed and cold air coming from the window. The fondue was great, we had 200g cheese option but also 300g wouldnât be an issue to finish. Meringue for desert was ok, but tasted slightly different than usual. Overall good service...

For a large table of approximately 15/16 or so , the service didn't miss a beat and everyone ok staff were very attentive and kind to all the diners needs amd wants. Fondue served was a classic and well prepared. Standard portions that are well worth the price. Definitely looking forward to returning for other...
