Au Petit Délice — Local services in Geneva

Excellent place for a good, quick, cheap lunch. You can sit and eat or take away from the counter. Everyday there is a choice of 3 different pasta dishes (sometimes risottos). Also available are fresh made sandwiches which are a very filling. The parma ham and cheese is literally sliced in front of you, they come in a delicious bread (choice of plain, spicy and olive) and come with grilled vegetables and sun dried tomatoes), salads and and focaccia. They also have other Italian épicerie type things. The service could be a bit more organised especially during the peak hours, but that is part of the charm I guess....

4.4 at the time of writing for this mediocre focaccia... Focaccia was dry, flat, no taste, felt like it was from the day before. Parma ham was too salty, coupled with even saltier dried tomatoes, then balsamic vinegar which adds another layer of saltiness... Tasteless tomatoes, only the rocket was good... On top of this, I didn't find the owners particularly welcoming. Bref, une fois...

The pastas are only available for lunch, not for dine in at dinner. We tried to go around 6pm but they aren't allowed to serve them after 3 or 3:30pm based on the type of restaurant they are. That being said they were friendly and explained why they couldn't and offered to prepare them...
