An Exceptional Culinary Gem in the Heart of Geneva
What an extraordinary dining experience! Nestled in the heart of Geneva, this restaurant truly stands out as a must-visit destination for food lovers. Every dish is prepared fresh and bursting with authentic flavor, delivering an impeccable fine dining experience that’s both warm and welcoming.
The flavors are nothing short of remarkable—from beautifully balanced main courses to decadent desserts that leave a lasting impression. The Kunefe, in particular, was a showstopper: freshly made, perfectly crisp on the outside, and meltingly soft within. It’s easily one of the best I’ve had and an absolute must-try.
Their Turkish tea was another highlight—rich, aromatic, and authentic, offering the perfect finish to a delightful meal. The freshly baked Turkish flatbread (naan) was also a lovely touch, served warm and incredibly flavorful.
The atmosphere is inviting and family-friendly, making it an ideal spot for all ages. Even the kids were thrilled with the food, which speaks volumes. We loved every moment and every bite—this place is a true gem in Geneva’s...
Read moreUnsure who is giving 5stars. Against my better judgment, I had decided to go here instead of another restaurant I had discovered, being new to Geneva. Took a lot of walking and navigating and upon arrival, restaurant was empty with only one other customer being served. Customer Service - Lady at the counter took so long dealing with the customer, was wondering what was going on. The other customer left and she could clearly see me standing by the counter seeing I was in line behind only other customer who left. I had to say hello, can I order. Meal - ordered the mixed grill yo take away. Upon arrival at my hotel, first was disappointed at the pain looming food. They had forgotten to add any sauces. Chicken kebab tasted fine. Other meats were uncooked inside and tasted like they had gone off but still sold thinking the grill would solve this issue. Had to throw in the bin. I am well travelled and used to all types of meal but this, must be the worst I have had and worst customer...
Read moreI had a fantastic dining experience at Rumi Turkish Restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with tasteful decor that sets a relaxing tone. The staff was attentive, friendly, and happy to offer recommendations, which was appreciated.
The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I tried the mixed grill platter and the lamb was tender and perfectly seasoned. The meze starters were also excellent, especially the hummus and stuffed vine leaves. Portions are generous without being overwhelming.
What stood out most was the balance between authenticity and presentation. You get traditional Turkish flavors in a modern, elegant setting. Prices were reasonable for Geneva, especially considering the quality.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for genuine Turkish cuisine in the city. I’ll definitely be...
