After many demands to review this restaurant, here I finally am.
Located in Eaux-vives and close to the lake, this small restaurant offers a nice selection of traditional Tibetan food. We took "Momos", which are steamed filled dumplings and they were great. I would recommend the spinach+cheese Momo, as well as the meat Momo. The potato-filled Momo was also good, but I found the tofu+spinach one a bit bland. Please note that they also serve other meals if that's not really your thing.
For desert we took the "Verrine Himalaya", which was very tasty and refreshing (but is a bit small).
The staff was smiling and friendly and the atmosphere was very cozy and warm. There was a nice mix of modernity and traditionalism, which all together gives a good vibe to the restaurant.
So if you are ever passing by the lake, I'd gladly recommend grabbing a bite...
Read moreI love this place. They have tasty momo’s and a great noodle soup. The flavors are wonderfully simple but super Tasty. I highly recommend their home made ginger lemon ice tea. It is one of my favorite drinks especially on a hot sunny day in Genève. In the winter you can get a hot Tibetan butter tea. It is really good and a taste most people have not had the pleasure to try. I recommend their Tibetan butter tea on cold days. The best part is they have the option on gluten-free noodles and soy sauce which is great for all the those with Celiac as they can still enjoy the yummy noodle soup and other tasty dishes.
They also always have dishes to give pets water and food for those outside. I’d recommend eating there and enjoy the experience...
Read moreI'm a regular visitor to this establishment, which I love. I love momos, which are Tibetan ravioli that I discovered on my travels to India when I was a child. So I was very happy to find this offer in Geneva. The dishes are very good, and I love making momos with half beef and half spinach/cheese, or momos in soup. It's not necessarily Tibetan but I really like the green salad and the sauce is very good. I often drink home-made tea. The staff are very friendly and the place is simple. I highly recommend it if you want to discover a new dish or if you're a fan of momos. Ideal for sharing a good meal in...
