I was banned today for the review below. Once again the owner treat me in an aggressive and rude way and didn't allow me to speak. He made up things as I was telling him to shut up when I was saying that it was not necessary to speak to me in this way ('esta situación incómoda te la podrías haber ahorrado'). He opened the door saying 'go away' and left me on my own in the coffee shop. It is a pity because it is a nice coffee shop and the other two staff are super nice. Anyway, there are plenty of coffee shops in Eaux-Vives :)

Great coffee shop, with good coffee and a nice environment. The staff is friendly and patient with my poor French. However, today I was shocked by the owner attitude since he stopped in the door and not allowed me to sit. The reason? I usually go there with my laptop, stay around 30-45 mins but the owner doesn't want to give 'working space image' during the weekends and it is reserved 'for families' (I guess they consume more than me...). I told him that I don't agree with this (I can do whatever I want with these 30mins) and that I will report it. Then he said things like: 'your attitude is horrible', 'it is horrible that you threaten me in these hard times' and moved his hands in a way that I felt attacked. I explained that I was not threatening him, but I have the right to have a different opinion. After a 5-min uncomfortable conversation, he apologised and said that he was stressed, even to invite me a coffee that I rejected because I felt extremely uncomfortable to keep there. I am wondering if laptops are ban during the weekend (even if I only spent the time of consuming...

Read moreIf you’re a family looking for a kind, welcoming spot, this sadly isn’t it. We recently visited this tea room hoping for a relaxing family outing. While I’ll give credit where it’s due—the coffee was excellent and the choux pastries were genuinely delightful—the experience was unfortunately overshadowed by the unwelcoming and frankly hostile attitude from the two male staff.
Despite the warm ambiance the decor might suggest, families are clearly not welcomed here. Not a single smile from the male staff, and worse, they despised our children for simply behaving like children—nothing excessive or disruptive, just normal, youthful energy. It was uncomfortable and disappointing.
It’s a shame, really, because the food and drinks had potential to bring us back. But with such an unfriendly and cold reception, we won’t...
