Honestly, I have absolutely no emotions about visiting this place. Unfortunately, the staff left an impression of extreme arrogance. I don’t mean to offend anyone, but considering the status of this establishment, it’s clear that the guests here are on a completely different income level than the staff serving them. However, instead of professionalism and hospitality, which should be the standard in such a place, it feels like there’s an unnecessary show of judgment toward guests.
We planned to celebrate New Year’s here, but unfortunately, we couldn’t make it in time for dinner and decided to stop by for drinks instead. I called in advance to ask about the details, including whether a deposit was required for a table. However, upon arrival, it was frankly laughable how the security guard inspected us from head to toe. Just comical.
The bar area was completely empty, with all tables unoccupied. We were seated at the bar. Later, we moved to one of the tables (none of them had reserved signs), but the security guard rushed over as if the table were a billion-dollar artifact, scolding us like schoolgirls and almost physically escorting us back to the bar. The behavior was simply unacceptable and honestly ridiculous.
It felt like guests here are viewed purely as walking wallets rather than the central focus of the establishment. When will venues like this understand that their success is built on the ability to connect with their guests? We, your customers, are the ones paying your salaries, and frankly, this kind of attitude is insulting.
That said, I’ll probably return because, unfortunately, there aren’t many similar places in Crans-Montana. I’d like to try the cuisine and hope that next time the experience won’t disappoint. I sincerely hope the establishment reconsiders its approach and remembers that guests are not just a source of prestige but their most...
Read moreAt first, I was extremely disappointed when I saw that it was not a farm, as the name clearly states.
That being said the food was very nice and the atmosphere was really fantastic.
Then came the time to pay, I told them that I was not looking to purchase the establishment and just pay for my consumption.
Anyways, ended up taking a loan and had a wonderful time.
Thanks a lot Ferme St Amour for a great evening, great staff and an absolutely amazing...
