We visited Zenhäusern Martigny Rue de la Poste early in the morning while staying at a nearby hotel in Martigny, Switzerland. It was just a few steps away from where we stayed, so we decided to stop by for some fresh bread and breakfast items before starting our day. The moment we entered, we were greeted with a warm smell of freshly baked goods it instantly gave a very cozy and welcoming feeling.
The staff were incredibly quick, active, and friendly, even though it was quite busy at that time. They handled all customers efficiently, and we didn’t have to wait long to be served. Everything was well organized, and you could really see how experienced and professional the team was.
We tried a variety of their breads, croissants, and pastries all were absolutely delicious and fresh. The bread had that perfect crust and softness inside, and the croissants were buttery and flaky, just the way they should be. The display counters were clean and beautifully arranged, making it hard to choose because everything looked tempting.
Apart from baked goods, they also had sandwiches, coffee, and some desserts, which made it a perfect breakfast stop. The coffee was strong and flavorful a great match with the pastries. The overall atmosphere inside was bright, tidy, and comfortable, with that lovely Swiss bakery charm.
What we really liked was how the staff smiled and greeted every customer politely, even though it was early morning. That positive attitude made a big difference and made us feel very welcome.
If you are staying in Martigny or even passing through, Zenhäusern on Rue de la Poste is definitely worth a visit. It’s the kind of place that makes your morning special with good service, excellent quality, and fresh baked products. We were so happy we found this bakery right next to our hotel.
Highly recommended to anyone looking for authentic Swiss bakery items, great coffee, and friendly service in Martigny. We’ll definitely come back again next time we visit...
Read moreAdisa is always smiley and welcoming. However her colleague who is not wearing a name tag and never smiles nor tries to be friendly might benefit from a few client orientation classes. It would be good if she wouldn't get upset at new employees as it feels in front of us. It is very weird to be standing waiting for an order and seeing how she is making faces and criticizing every step the colleague does. Surely there is a way to pick something or a way she likes to put boxes for transferring things but it is awkwardly to witness scoldings like if I am seeing a mother and a child..
