It's always a pleasure to dine at Lake Side ! As a satisfied client for many years, I can confidently say this restaurant consistently delivers an exceptional experience.

The food is truly outstanding, prepared with immense dedication and impeccable attention to detail. Every dish reflects great quality, and the presentation on the plate is always beautiful, with perfectly adequate portion sizes. I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the lakeside restaurant at Neuchatel, Switzerland.

I stopped by in the afternoon before dinner service. I tried the lemon meringue tart, which was good but nothing special – too much meringue and the crust was a bit soft. At CHF 12, it also felt a bit pricey for the quality. Service was on the slow side, and I was moved from one terrace to another before finally being allowed to sit in the area reserved for snacks before dinner. A bit complicated.

That said, the view is absolutely stunning. Just keep in mind that in summer it can get quite hot under the awnings on the terrace, while the indoor seating stays cooler and more...

When I asked for my first drink, I asked for the children's menu, salmon fillet. What was served was different from what we ordered. It was clearly different from the side dishes on the menu, but I think the staff initially said, "This is salmon fillet." The correct food was finally served, but the child was able to eat after the adults had finished.
