Paia Poké — Restaurant in Rapperswil-Jona

I lived in California USA all my life and been to Hawaii , and here on holiday to visit extended family. Was missing Poke and came to try this place.

If you’ve had poke before in Cali/Hawaii, place your expectations lower. It’s a Jasmin loose rice veggie bowl with one scoop of non marinated random sized salmon pieces.

It’s not bad, it’s just not poke, and for the price, I would go elsewhere. But if you’re just looking for some veggies and small amount of regular rice, then yes go for it! The seaweed salad atleast tasted legit but that was the only thing.

If I would change anything to make it better this would be it : evenly cut protein, atleast an additional protein scoop included in the bowl, more sauce variety and the sauce should be marinated with the tuna/salmon separately before adding to the bowl. More rice and a bit...

Yesterday, I visited Paia Poké for the first time, and I can confidently say I’ll be returning. The atmosphere is unbeatable, and the concept of building your own poké bowl was made effortless by the excellent service. Maxim, in particular, guided me through the entire process with ease, speaking flawless English and clearly demonstrating both his expertise and enthusiasm. The poké bowl I received was spectacular, packed with high-quality ingredients, and left me feeling completely satisfied....

The best Poké bowl around. Super refreshing, service fast & friendly. Highly recommend. Will visit again & bring family & friends. My husband and I sat inside as we were a bit chilly, with stunning views around Rapperswil, balcony seating outside looks lush for a warm sunny day also.
