Our first time dining in this restaurant as three vegetarians - and we have had a simply superb experience. We were there for lunch and were seated right at the window with a beautiful view of the river. The service staff are warm and spoke excellent English. The highlight of our experience was certainly the food - we were pleasantly surprised to find not just one but multiple vegetarian options. European food with an Asian touch. A superlative soup, salad with a beautifully balanced dressing and a healthy and yet delicious main course that provided plenty of protein (a point often overlooked by vegetarian offerings in traditional restaurants). We have been to Restaurant Schiff several times every time we visit Rhinefelden. The restaurant is located right by the Rhine looking toward the bridge that crosses in Germany. The food has always been excellent. For this visit, we had crispy fried perch, which comes with a large deconstructed salad and a large side of crispy French fries. The French fries came with a delish, housemade red pepper dipping sauce. The housemade bread also came with housemade red pepper butter. It's been my first time here today, I must say that the experience was simply: Amazing.

The staff is very welcoming, warm, helpful, patient, it was my sign to come in and try the food, which was even better, the chef is a master, tye tastes were extremely tasty, warm, fresh, just 5 stars as I ranked it. I took the Gnocchi.

The only thing that would make me consider coming more frequently is the price, but the whole experience is definitely worth it in my opinion.
