The Alpina Lounge — Restaurant in Saanen

Had a pre-dinner drink in the lounge and never really felt comfortable there as soon as we arrived. Firstly, server wanted to put us in a crowded couch area, but we refused as wasn’t premium offering we imagined, so decided to sit at the bar. Seats & bar looked great but so uncomfortable as you slid off the seats (we are both quite tall but had to anchor ourselves). Again, not what we expected so we eventually moved ourselves to a lone table but really was counting down the minutes until we could go into the 1* Michelin restaurant (separate review). As you would expect, drinks in the bar are equivalent to New York City with a glass of wine 22 CHF and a beer at 16 CHF. Not a great...
