We visited this "deli" because of the 4.9 rating (and it was near our hotel). When we first walked in we wondered if we had made a mistake. The place was clean but not very inviting. Then the lady of the house took over. She, who owns the restaurant with her husband the cook, explained the many and varied offering to us (which greatly exceeded what we could see). Ske explained that everything is prepared daily from fresh ingredients. She was friendly and enthusiastic. We sat down and ordered food (spaghetti with bolognese, clams and roasted tomatoes and lasagna). The cook came out from the kitchen and asked how we liked the food. And the focaccia bread is the softest and most wonderful focaccia I’ve ever eaten. Alessio & his wife, Tatiana, were friendly and gracious hosts. You can get take-out (including aperitif platters and calamari for a party) or eat in - they cook all of the items in the display case to order. It’s better to go early because they run out, but we got there at six for an early dinner and everything was spectacular.
