I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I have been coming here for many years, and every time I come I feel like I am home. This is a small hotel, and not a giant fancy resort, but it is as close to perfection as they come. It's in the more local part of town, down the street from the town pool (which is, in a word awesome - five pools, water slides, incredible food, spa), its a three minute walk to Signal Bahn which gets you up to the mountain to start your skiing. (in fact, if you know your way, you can just about ski back to the hotel's front door at the end of the day). The hotel has a dedicated ski room, incredible breakfasts, and probably the best restaurant in St. Moritz - better than any food I have ever had at the Kulm, or the Palace or any of the other large fancy hotels. The rooms at the Corvatsch are small but sumptuous, and it is immaculately maintained, and every room has a hand carved door that is to die for. And, if you don't stay at the Hotel Corvatsch because you made other plans, you are really missing something if you don't at least come here for dinner. I love this place, and I wish I could be here every year. ||||PS I have stayed here in the summer, too, and its just as good - and right down the street from piles of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI agree with everything that was already written so Iām not going to say it again. I only want to point out a couple of things: Yes, the hotel could seem pricey but it offers excellent value for money considering itās Saint Moritz. The room was rather cold especially at night so if I were to go back I would bring my warm pajamas. Some rooms have no view and they are smaller than others for the same price. If|you care about these things (as I do) please make sure you let them know at the time of booking. The mattresses were very hard. Reception staff (I remember AndrĆ© e Cinzia) and restaurant waitresses (especially the young dark haired lady, unfortunately I donāt remember her name) extremely helpful. Cleaning staff also very professional. The breakfast included in the room price was good enough, but the choice was rather limited so we ended up having breakfast at Reina Victoria (where one could also have omelettes made to order, smoked salmon etc, plus the service of our wonderful waitress Antonietta). I recommend this hotel especially if you like small...
