19th Alley Burger & Co. — Restaurant in Solothurn

The price is outrageous for what you get. The hotdogs' sausage is just a Cervelat - I would've expected a high quality sausage, the menu doesn't say "Cervelat". This type of sausage is really thick so it didn't leave much space for the other ingredients, making it really hard to eat by hands, something you would expect to be easy when it comes to hotdogs or burgers.

The toppings were overcooked, making the bacon unenjoyable as it was dry and stiff. The bun tasted cheap and dry, something you would find in your local discounter grocery store. The fries that come with every meal are alright but the quantity does not meet the price point.

The place itself felt more like your average kebab house under the hood than an actual restaurant, which this place is trying to achieve. Unfortunately it's just a small room which is poorly soundproofed. You can hear every conversation. The branding is awesome but it really deceived me.

The service was nice and the waiting waiting time between drinks and...

The paddies were burnt and completely dried out. When pointing it out, the chef came out and berated me for not knowing what I'm talking about, and how they were perfect. After some discussion they relented and agreed to redo it and the replacement was tasty. The new paddy had twice the diameter of the previous one, that's how overcooked and shrivelled up the first one was.

While the replacement was fine, I can't recommend eating here, they made a very clear mistake and instead of owning up and apologizing they argued with me - though at least they didn't argue with the other person that also got served burnt food and complained. for the hefty price of CHF 35.- for a burger I expect a lot better. as expected they didn't even offer the drink for free for their screw-up, something most restauraunts would to as a gesture of good will...

Hervorragendes Essen und Serviceerlebnis

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, den Farmer Burger mit Pommes zu probieren, während meine Frau sich für einen Hotdog entschied und unser Sohn das Kindermenü genoss. Der Burger war gross und geschmacklich erstklassig, begleitet von ausreichenden Beilagen. Überraschenderweise gelang es mir problemlos, den Burger zu geniessen, trotz seiner Grösse. Der Hotdog erwies sich als deutlich grösser als erwartet, und das Kindermenü war ein voller Erfolg mit hochwertigen Chickennuggets (kein Pressfleisch) mit knuspriger Kellogg's-Krusten, Pommes, Orangensaft, einem Lollipop und einem Spielzeug, das unserem Sohn viel Freude bereitete.

Mein Farmer Burger harmonierte perfekt, und alle Zutaten waren von hoher Qualität. Ich entschied mich, das Ei wegzulassen, was problemlos möglich war und meinen Geschmacksvorlieben entsprach.

Obwohl einige den Preis für einen Burger über 25.- als hoch empfinden mögen, ist die Frische der Zutaten, die grosszügigen Portionen und die Qualität des Geschmacks jeden Cent wert. Ich persönlich konnte keine Kritikpunkte am Öl feststellen, da alles den richtigen Geschmack hatte. Die Pommes waren genau so, wie man sie sich aus einer Fritteuse wünscht, und der Burger war ein wahres Gaumenerlebnis.

Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich, führte Smalltalk, beriet uns gut und war äusserst aufmerksam - ein Serviceerlebnis, das ich schon lange nicht mehr erlebt habe. Als die Servietten knapp wurden, wurden sie uns sofort unaufgefordert nachgebracht.

Ich habe das Lokal bereits weiterempfohlen und freue mich darauf, beim nächsten Besuch erneut so zufrieden das Restaurant...
