The location is great and offers an amazing view of lake Thun. The service is overall good and friendly. The food itself was a bit mixed for us. Perhaps we had set our expectations too high given the ratings, or perhaps some key cooking personnel was off on Sunday. Presentation was great as you can see in the pictures, taste felt a bit more average to us, especially for this kind of budget and rating where we are used to a markedly higher level overall. We had our wedding reception here, and would certainly recommend its manager Francis Nova for excellent communication and hospitality.

They delivered exactly what we requested and the whole process went smoothly. Francis was also kind to offer some advice for photo taking, which was greatly appreciated by all of us.

We had dinner twice at this restaurant during our stay at the hotel and on both occasions, the food was good and tasty. Mademoiselle Dominique who spoke perfect French and English took good care of us and served us well each time, while the other staff could still learn from her and improve the service quality.
