Yesterday morning I decided to drive from Berne to St. Gallen to see this new coffee shop. Well the coffee shop is already around for more than a year, but I had no time before. I met the owner Emil just in front of the shop and got a very warm welcome 🙏. I was then invited behind the coffee machine to better see that they truly love coffee and its making.

I had several tasty espresso flights: the first one from Brazil, slightly darker roasted (medium roast). I have tried the oat milk 🥛 for the cappuccino. Very tasty 😋 with beautiful latte art.

After two hours chilling out I tried the fresh cold brew: very smooth, naturally sweet and refreshing. Before I went back home I also tried another espresso flight with a coffee from Honduras 🇭🇳 😍, my favorite espresso origin. Try this one as long as it is the choice of the season (light roast).

They also got tasty pastries. Have a chat with Emil and ask him how he started in Australia 🇦🇺 with coffee. He has an interesting story to tell and he is full of passion for this wonderful product. He is also great in hospitality and his crew is very warm hearted, kind and skillful.

It was definitely worthwhile to drive four hours to Sank Gallen and another two hours back: a cosy place to hang out and to...

Well… this was an experience. Not a great one, but an experience nonetheless. Beginning by the barista arguing with you about your coffee choices and what makes “technical” sense to him or not. Excuse me, can I just have a coffee with ice without you changing my whole order? We wanted to order two iced americanos, but he said it made no sense to order that and that we must have it with milk, so we cold two iced coffees instead. So basically, you pay almost chf10.- a coffee, to be told off, and to get the order you did not want or asked for. Honestly, I am surprised how this place is still in...

Best quality coffee I had in St Gallen! Such a hidden gem of a coffee shop. We had two flat whites and a delicious homemade Zwetschgen crumble. The barista and owner is very knowledgeable. We spoke to him for a few minutes and we could tell he was very passionate about his craft and loved listening to him speaking about where he gets his coffee from. The place is cosy with lots of decorations and seating inside and some outside. Highly recommend if you’re in St Gallen!
