Etzliberg — Restaurant in Thalwil

Unfortunately a very disappointing evening with friends and family. The restaurant staff was extremely rude, impolite and disrespectful towards my family (myself, wife and two kids 07&05) as well as our friend (couple and two kids). On a Sunday evening, we stopped after a bike trip close to our home and had one of the worst experiences in my life in this restaurant. I travel constantly, worldwide and been to several types of restaurants where i can surely differentiate a good leve of service from a rude behavior. The food is very good and the view is amazing, but unfortunately due to a lack of complete sense of client experience and service of excellence this business is designed to either close its doors or simply change its personnel. If you want to get angry and upset while at your time off and still pay a higher price to eat, just go there and see what i mean. Definitely I’m still trying to understand what goes on the mind of such people (restaurant manager) to treat clients with such behavior. If you are looking for an outstanding view of Zürich lake from above, this is surely the place. The food is good and the location is family friendly as it has a kids playground. Speaking about friendliness, just hope you dont come across the non polite manager Frau Bieri nor the waiter Herr Isler. Both are in urgent need of business / client etiquette lessons.
