La Barca — Restaurant in Thun

Great choice for pizza and regional specialties. Food quality was high, menus were in English with common allergens listed. Our server, Ben, was fabulous and spoke excllent English. He got our order perfect, and even shared some insights about the local community. We had a covered table by the sidewalk, which was great for people watching. Decent pizzas after a day of sightseeing and traveling. Everybody was very happy. My Gorgonzola and Prosciutto pizza could have used more gorgonzola, but that’s just me. My sister’s pizza with the burrata and pesto looked great.

We also tried a few of the desserts which were good too - chocolate lava cake, panna cotta; and the baileys cup. The baileys cup was huge but mom thoroughly enjoyed it!

Service was great too....

So... The service was very friendly however the food was abysmal, I had a mixed Salad that was dry and the other half from a tin, and I was given the wrong one soI had to return. For a main I had a prawn pizza, the dough was quite good however the topping was below average. To reiterate, the service was great however maybe just try this place...
