À tout mes amours des sushis : 頂きます (Itadakimasu) Version française au dessus Food was great. I recommend the place as a sushi restaurant in Vevey. Very Swiss prices 💲💲💲 but the quality of the cuisine, service and atmosphere is worth it. The lady in charge of the service was attentive and responded brightly and respectfully to my various requests. What won me over the most: the revisited miso soup, the yuzu cheesecake and the black sesame ice cream. The sushi are of good quality but not gourmet level. I particularly liked the miso soup because it was reworked by the chef to adapt to the "Swiss" taste but also and above all with more local ingredients for some of them. A plus if you want to learn about atypical flavors (from Japan) without bad surprises with wasabi or any other strong-tasting products. The atmosphere was calm and pleasant. Minimalist atmosphere with the black tone of the furniture. I was seated at the bar (2 seater) with high chairs. Little space in the restaurant and I recommend booking for the evening. Accepts order for take-out and accepts payment by Twint. Not specific to this restaurant but am still a little disappointed not to see myself automatically being served a jug of water when it is customary to do so in Japan. Especially since their jugs nicely fit with the theme of the restaurant and the tap water in Switzerland is probably one of the best in the world. +1 for having the Genmaicha tea available as beverage. Doesn't offer a view of the lake but is located in a fairly scenic area of Vevey and is close to the lake. To all my sushi lovers : 頂きます (Itadakimasu)

Excellent quality sushi and presentation, in a friendly and cozy environment. I enjoyed the handrolls and Hamachi, which are both hard to find in Switzerland. The menu is sushi focused, but they are flexible. We needed a vegetarian only option for one of us, and the staff was very helpful in accommodating this even though it is not on the menu. Pricey, but in balance with the quality.

We had a very good experience from start to finish. We went to eat with friends, and the quality of the food was excellent, the fish was very fresh and flavorful. The tea was delicious and served in a generous quantity. The wasabi was good and pleasantly spicy. The ambiance was lovely, not too loud, cozy, and calm. The dishes were also beautifully presented.

This sushi place is excellent at estimating the exact amount and variety of produce they need to prepare for their customers, so that they cannot take any additional walk-in or takeout customers. That’s very impressive. You can just put it clear as taking reservation only to save time for us both. Merci beaucoup🙃

And perfect at judging ppl. I am also shocked and you surely need to learn some manners from your Japanese...
