Alm's restaurant is located in a mountainous area near the first gondola station. Alm's restaurant can be reached by taking the gondola and getting off at the first station. Or you can also walk up from the gondola station below in Zermatt. If you walk up, Alm's restaurant is on the right, 200m before the first gondola station.
