Stopped by for a quick meal on Saturday, the place was quite busy, but we felt very welcome and were served immediately and with great attitude. We came with a dog, the manager brought her water before we even thought to ask. Our food (we only tried rolls) arrived within minutes, all very fresh and nicely made. The menu is simple, standard choice of ingredients for Switzerland, nothing fancy, but this matches the pricing and the concept, therefore 5 stars for being exactly what is expected. Very limited seating, still you can eat in and feel comfortable (if a party of 2-3 people) as well as wait for your takeaway order inside. An extra star to the manager who saw that a family with a kid forgot the child's bag at the table, and chased them for a good hundred meters on the street to return it. Little things that matter! Will...

The food was too expensive but good, but I set outside with a friend fro 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us (we also sign from the window), Then I said I need it as take-away as I didn't have much time anymore. it took them half an hour to prepare the take away (two poke bowls, so it usually takes one minute to prepare). When I received the food, I mentioned the delay to the employee (I think the cook) at first he stared with me in anger, than after a few seconds I said that they could have told us it will take a long time to make. He said in a rude way something like: "I was busy how am I supposed to know it would take a long time"?

The food was good, but this level of customer service is unacceptable, and paying a premium to then get this ruined my day....

I recently dined at TAKESushi, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The high-quality fish used in their sushi dishes was impeccably fresh. The ambience was inviting, with a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. Peter and the staff were very friendly and helped me translate the menu. What pleasantly surprised me was the reasonable prices for such top-notch quality. Additionally, their craft beer selection was impressive, offering a perfect complement to the sushi. Overall, I highly recommend TAKESushi for anyone seeking exceptional sushi, welcoming service, and a...

I think Switzerland maybe doesn’t know what good quality sushi or seafood is 😅 We wanted to love this place and we’re very excited based on reviews. But my shrimp in the ramen was overcooked to barely chewable and my partner’s the octopus, shrimp, and tuna sashimi was very very fishy. It should not be. **note: fishy seafood means that it has not been stored properly and the fishy taste is a byproduct of bacteria living on the seafood.

Small sushi joint. Definitely better than the big chains but with very limited seating inside. Given the name, the concept is mostly for take away. In any case, I am a fan. Good quality with reasonable prices. Nothing super fancy but the first address when it comes to sushi in Zug.
