Nice Brunch Place with a Lively Atmosphere
Bohemia is a great place to go and enjoy a nice Brunch with friends. Make sure to make reservations as it gets quite packed during the weekend. Overall the food was good but there were some things that were lacking.
Service: Normally it was very good but during the brunch rush they don't have a lot of staff and so depending on your seating it might take you a while to get your order taken. I gave a specific directions to serve the coffee and pastry before the food but they did not follow that. Which is fine but the pastry got dry at the table which was less than enjoyable.
However, Miky who became our server after was really good and very on point with giving suggestions and serving the table.
Food: The Eggs Florentine was really good! The hollandaise sauce had a bit more salt than I would prefer but honestly no other points. Highly recommend!
The farmers bread open sandwich was also really good and the portion was really good!
The Steak and Eggs were less than ideal because of a few factors but I must mention that the Garlic and Herb butter was really good! The bacon was made to order! The large potatoes were not fully cooked through, the steak was medium rare and not medium as asked. The fat cap of the steak was really large and needed a larger render. The larger fat cap meant that the steak became more rubbery or a lower quality of meat which was disappointing since it was the most expensive thing ordered.
The Pain Au Chocolat was dry and the chocolate was hard, which meant the pastry had been standing close to the door for too long reducing the taste and the quality.
The coffee was good but the flat white milk was not the correct consistently.
Good place however the price is high for the...
Read moreThree years later, we’re seeing price inflation (around 10-12% - which is understandable, prices rise) and brunch shrinkflation (which is not). A staple of mine was the Pacific Combo. The bread has been reduced. The cheese - which previously had Tête de Moine and something salty and white-like is now just the salty and white-one. The egg amount: less. The small pancakes: less. It’s quite a bare and spartan wooden board compared to the old days. You don’t even get a little chocolate or biscuit with the coffees any more!
It’s just a bit disappointing. Getting hold of service is quite challenging at times - even when the place isn’t full. It’s the brunch equivalent of the managed decline of post-Brexit Britain. So sad. It’s stilll ok. It just really isn’t what it used to be.

Read moreI have been there around 10 times and the service and the food are always good. This says a lot about their consistency and good organization in the kitchen and within waitresses.
Congratulations! I think that good service is something scarce in Zurich and you nailed it.
Their drinks are good and they always have a new one to try.
I also recommend their fries with truffle. Give a try to their very particular ketchup and barbecue sauce.
Brunchs on Saturday or Sunday are also well organized, with a variety of options where most popular ingredients are row smoked salmon, many types of cheese, and eggs .
Their ingredients rotated between dishes what, I think, brings both a good variety of possibilities to choose and simplicity at the...
