International Protestant Church — Attraction in Zurich

The people are amazing and the teaching is very solid. They also offer a strong children’s program for all ages. The one area our family struggles with is the worship on Sunday morning - they only offer hymns which sometimes date as far back as the eighth century. They are difficult to sing and often dreary and boring. Even the “modern” worship offered in the evening isn’t very current - the songs are sometimes from the ‘80s. Very rigid, legalistic form and ceremony, no place for the Spirit of God to work, besides they are very hypocritical and cold people. Its really amazing how during the Sermon the Preacher preached about the Gospels story about Jesus and the Phariseez, condemning the Pharisees, and just minutes after the Sermon was over, they do exactly like the Pharisees, as if there were NOT present at all on the Service, Just Top level...

I would strongly recommend to stay away from this church. I tried to attend a home study group, and I was never treated w/such RUDENESS AND CRUELTY by the person leading the group. They made me feel unwelcome and shunned. Find another church that welcomes people instead of acting like they're interviewing...
