House of Mezze — Restaurant in Zurich

If you’re in town and looking for a great place to eat with authentic Lebanese flavor, this is the place to go. I’d like to start my review by stating that we came from out of town and didn’t know how the parking situation worked. I stepped into the restaurant and asked the gentleman if he could tell me where to park. He explained there is a machine that you need to insert coins into. Being tourists that had just arrived, we hadnMt exchanged money yet so when the gentleman realized that, he was kind enough to lend me a handful of little coins to try to use to pay for our parking spot. I was in awe of his kind actions. We parked and came back in to order food. They explained the menu and suggested what to order. We ended up ordering a mezze platter for 2, and 2 chicken shawerma sandwiches. The sandwiches were huge, couldn’t finish it. Their portions are very generous. Upon taking our first bite, we were transported to Lebanon. The flavors are so authentic to our home cooked meals in lebanon. Everything was cooked fresh for us. The food was so good we drove from Lucerne to Zurich the next day again, just to eat there. Our second time we ordered a falafel wrap and split it half and also ordered a mezze platter. Everything was betond delicious. I can’t wait to visit once again someday! I’d also like to add that i loved the fact that they don’t serve coca cola products. I found their soda 10x better than...

Update 20.10.22: Today I had finally the opportunity to dine at this place. I was a bit sceptic whether it will be good since the outlet was empty. But then the show began with 10 different meze plates. Each of them had its own special delicious taste. And when the platter with the skewers arrived the food show was complete. The food was phenomenally yummy tasting. The staff was very friendly and explained the dishes as well. It was just a great evening with my friends. Thank you guys, keep it up with this...

We recently discovered House of Mezze, and it is an absolute gem! We ordered takeaway, and everything about our experience was fantastic.

The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great care. Even as a takeaway, every dish maintained its high quality and delicious taste.

The service was equally outstanding. We were warmly welcomed and assisted by Ali, who was incredibly friendly and professional and great to chat with. His excellent customer service made the experience even more enjoyable.
