Le Mezzerie de Moudi — Restaurant in Zurich

Inside as soon you open the door the place smells fried oil. This will stay in the clothes you use for a few days after you visit. Ventilation ducts are installed, but defenitly not working, so pick a table outside. The food was ok, as a more meat oriented person this is not the place to have a satisfactory experience, (meat parts are ridiculously small) but if you enjoy the middle East flavours it is. Service was fast considering the place was almost full, but this thing of asking what do you want to drink, even when you are not seated in your place and obviously didn't even scan the QR code to open the menu...

Tasty food! Good Mezze selection and very tasty libanese flan 😍... I was here with a freind and we chose the ‚mezze queer beet mit spiessli’. The menue was rather heavy on carbs... not that much veg or meat/cheese. + I would have wished gor the sauce for the ‚spiessli‘ to be on the side. Compared to other Mezze places rather mediocre (still good though) food wise but more attentive staff and cozy vibes than other mezze places in Zürich. All in all a good experience. Would recommend for a cozy evening if you crave oriental...

Quite many vegetarian and meat based mezze options and order varieties. Mezzes are good for Zurich standards, vegetarian ones being slightly better... The prices are around city average, not a bargain but nothing expensive either. The ambiance is more like of a caffè but it's easygoing and welcoming. The biggest minus is the heavy, fries like smell from the kitchen. It hits you when you enter and never leaves you thereafter. Casual simple clothes and a shower afterwards are...
