Good food, cheap eats. Reasonably price dishes and an Asian spin on classic dishes. Dine in or take away,, plenty of seating inside with long tables and bench type seating and lots of outside tables. Staff are quick to take your order and will provide tap water if requested. We ordered only one drink and the waitress was quick to offer tap water without us requesting, which was very considerate, and much appreciated. The kitchen is in the middle of the restaurant which allows for quick delivery of meals and a good fast atmosphere. The restaurant is popular and has a very open welcoming ambiance, with large windows, spacious tables and simple seating. The large windows allow for great views of the street. The menu has a lot to offer with plenty of good dishes and there is the option (although they suggest against it) to alter menu items at a small cost. Payment can be made via contactless efpos.

Don’t be fouled by the queue and amount of people in the restaurant. The food is tasteless, appetizers are mostly fried and actually overcooked (I don’t know how that’s even possible, but it’s very very dry - eg. The pork belly). We tried almost all of the appetizers and really none stood up. You can buy the same frozen ones at the supermarket and fry them. The description on the menu really doesn’t match what you receive or at least doesn’t taste as amazing as what’s written. The mains are all meh (we had 4 different ones). The meat is dry and noodles were okish. Most of the dishes we ordered came cold. Overall, it’s just overpriced for a bad fast food. Don’t waste your time and money.

Day 1 in Zurich did not disappoint. I’m asian so sorry for my excessive enthusiasm when I encounter amazing asian cuisine in europe. This is a real must try. Bumped into this when I googled best cheap restaurants in Zurich (I’m sure you know why we wanted something cheap because the common misconception about Switzerland is that it is too expensive). This restaurant did not disappoint. We still spent around 80 francs for the food and drinks but boy the serving and the taste were fair and reasonable and the vibe of the place and the smell inside the restaurant is giving legit South East Asian street market. I swear, you must try this place. 🫶🏻⭐️😘

After years eating at this restaurant, today it was the last time after the second time that my dish was prepared with missing ingredients. When I asked the waitress (tall Asian looking girl with very long hair and no skills at all for customer service) to have the dish done again with all the ingredients that are listed in the menu (otherwise why would I choose that and pay the full amount?!) she angrily replied it's not nice to throw food away (then cook the food properly) and she rushed away shaking her head and looking angry at us. The dish, besides coming with missing ingredients, was also looking very pale and not glossy as just taken from the pan and from a bite it felt overcooked and as it was waiting on the counter for some time. When the manager came he tried to fix things, but I lost my appetite as the waitress' attitude spoiled my mood and friends' as well, so I cancelled my order completely. He offered us the drinks. However, I didn't appreciate him saying he offered my food (which food?? The one that came without ingredients and was sent back??!). Thanks to the chef, who apparently is unable to prepare a complete dish, and to the awful service of that girl this restaurant has lost any value for me. Never again after so many years during which I loved...

After I haven’t visited this place for four years, where was my first and last visit, my nephew „forced“ me to go Lily’s again with my sister and girlfriend. Now I know why did not go here again a second time before.

In general, I am really surprised how many people go this cheap taste thai restaurant where the curry tastes like the one I do at home with the ready to go thai curry paste from the supermarket (sweet sugar taste and “dirty artificial”) with premium prices, but atmosphere and comfort (no back rest - really?) of a fast food restaurant. Beside this general comment, the red curry dish was more a soup with a few green beans and four small pieces of dug (the other three ones were ok regarding the amount). Further, we ordered two times an additional rice but it never came. At least they gave an overall reduction at the end off course removed the never received rice. But yes, to come to that final moment being „allowed“ to pay, the one waitress was running away at first try (because the phone rang) and never came back - after 20 minutes we were taking it in our hands and pushed them so that we could pay (directly with the cashier at the bar). It felt...

Nice food, good portions, modern vibe.

Update: Our second visit to Lilly's was not a success. The Pad Thai was quite bland, and overly sour (too much Tamarind would be my guess). There was hardly any (if any) egg inside, and the chicken was also tasteless.

My girlfriend had the Paneer Masala which was a disappointment as well. The rice was super dry, and sadly the masala sauce itself was quite dry as well, making the dish very hard to eat. To make things even worse, the koriander-garlic naan was one of those store bought-in-the-pack ones, super dry and without any fragrance. Almost the same like the one Coop sells. I even saw them opening the multipack in the kitchen.

It's worth to mention that the "CHILLING BLUE ICED TEA" with the blue flowers inside, was like you were drinking blue coloured water. Hardly any taste.

On a good note, the kimchi and leek dumplings were very tasty and the homemade Yuzu lemonade as well!

Sadly, we don't believe we are going to...
