The vegetarian and vegan options are extremely unpredictable. One day decent, one day revolting and barely edible. Only the meat dishes are consistently good.
The salad buffet is nice and there's a decent selection, including many vegetable salads and seeds. It quickly gets expensive if you have to rely on the salad buffet alone because everything else is icky on that day. Expect to pay CHF 15 - 20 for a decent-sized salad.
The place gets packed during lunch rush hour but manages to stay relatively quiet. From 13:00-14:00 you can avoid the squeeze but some buffet items may be sold out by then.
Some of the coffee machines offer lactose free cow's milk, but there are no goat, sheep, soy, oat or almond milk options or anything of the sort.

Read moreQuality is good. There are many options amd prices are affordable (compared with another Restaurant or Mensa in Zürich). In addition the man working there was attending to the wishes of the clients (some people wanted more of this, less of that; just a little bit of the other main course just to try it...). I liked it and I'd come more often if I didn't have a super price as a student in the mensa in my University, that btw is just in front of...
Read moreService is great, however food looks good, taste low grade canned type food. I had soggy salad, some kinda spam ham thing, soggy fish nuggets (the only tasted ok thing on the plate). So surprisingly in Zurich, to have low quality food. Regretfully coming here to eat, I was hungry & ate this bad food. Feel like throwing up now. Worse than eating junk food.
