naanu — Restaurant in Zurich

We’ve traveled many countries and often try dabbling in local Indian cuisine. As we’re curious to learn the impact of local palettes and always return to the good ones; Switzerland was our pick this time.

Alas, this one’s a bit weird. The great food here brutally undermined by poor experiences. The owner refused to speak to us and kept sending her employees to answer our questions. We were speaking in English…. We then heard her speak in fluent English to a few other customers…

I feel sorry for the hard working Indian chefs and the pleasant and humble staff who often looked like they were being badgered by the owner. They should find better places to work and I hope they do.

Avoid the place if you came seeking Indian hospitality.

We discovered this restaurant by chance – and what a wonderful surprise it was! The restaurant was packed to the brim, yet despite the crowd, the service was truly exceptional.

What impressed us the most was the single staff member, an Indian lady, who managed everything with incredible friendliness and patience. She explained everything to us in detail, took excellent care of all the guests, and always had a warm smile on her face.

We enjoyed naan bread, tandoori, and chai – everything was delicious and full of flavor. It was clear that all the other guests were equally satisfied, which speaks volumes about the quality of both the food and the service.

Such warm and professional hospitality is rare to find. We will definitely be coming back to...

Not for Indians for sure, service was bad had to go to counter to order , for water don't mind going but they charge heavy n give fast food chain service n give you box on table if u ask them for takeaway so you had to put the food in a box while seated on your table ... First time seen butter chicken served with boiled veggies ... if u ask them to make it spicy they have some weird curry looking chili sauce to add as they say dish is already prepared before I could place a order ... On top of that bad taste at the last minute realized that I will not be able to have the left portion ... Kept the takeaway box on the table n left highly...
