Yooji's Seefeld — Restaurant in Zurich

Ordered a large tuna donburi (23.90 CHF) which was tiny. The bowl size was max. 300ml and not even half full. At most 70-80g of tuna and little rice. The whole portion would easily fit in an adult hand. When I asked if there was a mistake and if they served by accident the small tuna donburi, I was told to go eat a burger at Iroquois across the road (thanks for the suggestion, I will). Quality of the rice and tuna was OK, the sauce was sickly sweet.

I frequently went there for about 3 years - today was the last time for sure. This restaurant has been awesome, but I had so many bad experiences within the last year. Today the staff ignored me, forgot to put soy sauce cups in my bag (this happens every time, I kinda got used to it...), put ginger on the plate (this also happens every time, even though I always mention that I don't want it) and on top I didn't get the sushi that I've had ordered. Sushi should be simple and not mass produced. I couldn't find normal things on the menu. The poor guys making the food were overwhelmed with having to make takeaway orders as well as serve the restaurant. Nothing on the belt felt fresh either. Don't try and do weird combinations, just stick to what works! For the price you pay you don't get the quality. The rice should be the star of the sushi, you can tell this is just basic Japanese rice and I don't feel the fish is fresh enough either. I will be heading to another place for my sushi fix...
