Paulaner Brauhaus — Restaurant in Beitou

This was the best meal we’ve had during our month-long cycling trip around Taiwan. The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary needs with care and kindness. It was genuinely relaxing to enjoy a thoughtfully prepared meal in such a welcoming atmosphere.

Watching the team at work added to the experience—their quiet coordination and pride in what they do was a pleasure to witness. The ambiance was cozy yet vibrant, and the real German beer was the perfect finishing touch.

Boasting a nice view of the large lawn beside the front gate of Taipei National University of Arts, this well-decorated German restaurant looks good both outside and inside. The service quality is commendable as well. Their stewed German pork pot is surprisingly delicious, and many of their main items like sausage, mashed potatoes, grilled chicken do not disappoint either.
