WOYAO Burger 我 要 漢 堡 — Restaurant in Beitou

Possi (from the sentence emblazoned on their tees & food truck -- I believe it was something about achieving the impossible) Posse Possess & Lol if you want to go more risqué then also Pussi or more elegantly 😉 Puççi I think there's already a Pucci an upstart brand playing off of Gucci of course

So what is yet another Burger Co purporting to deliver a better a more American a juicier alternative to the usual cardboard beef tasteless patty experience I'm slowly getting accustomed to & 😂 trying to figure out why the problem is so effin constant / consistent

I believe I have the answer : (multilayered)

1. underseasoned & seasoned improperly & seasoned with poor ingredients Get me sea salt & Freshly ground black pepper

2. quality of imported beef Now don't quote me on this & I'm too lazy to do the research : It's mostly if not all from 🇺🇲 It's the cheapest cut It's 🐮 they can't sell there It's 🐮 Americans wouldn't eat

3. mixing chuck with other cuts of 🐮 A good patty is a mixture of fatty & lean cuts

Ya gotta experiment

Ya gotta try even 🐷🐗🦃 & bison (lol import bison instead of 🐮)

A burger place lives & dies by the patty

Taiwan can do 🍞 🥬 🍅 well enough Sauce ? Not a problem

The problem ??

The absolute cock-up of all 🐓 is the absolutely dastardly patty that people just can't seem to get right

Why is it that beef in 牛肉麵 🍜 taste fine ?

& Has taste !!! 🧐

But a burger patty in Taiwan is like a dead hooker 💃 or even 2 👯‍♀️ -- sure you can still 🖕'em but it pales in comparison to a live one as Michael Jackson in 1990s pales in comparison to Michael Jackson in 1970s

The food ? I'm going to finish this review when I visit the brick & mortar

Finally made it to the mecca

Their brick & mortar This spot in between 2 hot spots : Beitou & Tamsui The uni kids can make their way down & the hot springs lovers can make their way up

As you can see if you build it pretty & Korean in style the stylish ladies will come

These bros are all from the area -- mainly from Beitou

I wanted to try the peanut 🥜 sauce to refute the review below but deciding on the vegetarian I opted for the intended sauce & Jalapenos & it already has eggs🥚 & mushrooms 🍄

A gorgeous visual & lacto-ovo vegetarian feast

Now I'm about to get to the ♥️ of any burger business -- the 🐮 patty

WOYAO uses Australian 🐮 -- which is a cut above 🇺🇸🐮 in 🇹🇼 (just my opinion, no real data)

First, is it more expensive ? That says something It says something when a place doesn't buy the cheapest version of that ingredient

(You do have to ask yourself -- as a business owner -- why is an ingredient this cheap ? & as a consumer, too -- why is this food so cheap ?)

WOYAO blends ground in-house 70/30 lean-fat split steak powder & salt in the mix shape & flatten into patty then frozen (I'm assuming frozen)

(Not sure how they handle their chicken 🐔 & vegetarian patties -- it's rare I order anything but 🐮 at a burger 🍔 joint)

Here's what I have to add (just for consideration: you know these Beitou Boyz went through plenty of experimentation & iteration prior to opening but 😂 how's some more ? & more & more -- non-stop innovation) :

They'll build mega burgers 😜 but it'll be worth the free advertising

Soon you'll develop a devoted cult fan base

Burgers on the grill outside would be cool too

The flavour is totally different on charcoal grill

I'm saying all this because I ♥️ WOYAO

& I want nothing but the best for these Beitou Boys

& I know they want a lot more than 🍔

🍔 is just the start

They're gonna 😉 move into POSSI & 🤔 PUÇÇI

& into making media & turning their (still) youth into one big gamble for greater & funner

Woyao Burger is a food truck in Taipei that serves up (Asian?) style burgers. The basic level of the burger is a grilled seasoned patty with toasted buns. Then you can pick a sauce.

They were low on lettuce and offered to add another slice of cheese. Unfortunately both cheese slices weren’t fully melted.

For the Woyao burger sauce, I chose peanut butter. They had peanut butter available so I went for it. That was a mistake. It wasn’t as good as I thought it was going to be. I’ll try this burger again with basic ketchup and lettuce (if available) next time.

There isn’t an consistent location for Woyao Burger so you’ll have to find their schedule on Facebook. I’ll try them again because I think there score may be higher.

This burger joint is easy to get to since it’s right next to Guandu MRT station. The place is comfortable, neat, and clean. You can choose to have regular fries or tater tots as sides. I order a regular beef burger and another with a sunny side up. The fries were great but I thought the beef patty was a bit dry (just my opinion). I would come back again to try other stuff 👍 I’d give it 3.5 stars...
