Nice place to work out of but gets a little crowded in the afternoon, tea is quite good, and there food is pretty tasty as well.
I was looking for a cafe to work out of and found that this place has multiple seating areas. There are 2 long tables, a few smaller tables along the wall, and a standing bar table by the window.
You're required to buy a drink if you want to work here, buying food won't cut it (even though food costs more than drinks).
Food/Drink: I ordered the Chocolate Tea - Earl Grey flavor (it costs $180, pretty expensive). I wanted to get something unique, the regular tea were around $100. The chocolate was more of a bitter and not sweet which was something that I do like. It was a little thick and there was a hint of earl grey when you smell. I also ordered the smoked salmon sandwich (also $180). If you're looking for the bagel, be sure to specify the bagel (I wanted to get the bagel but accidentally ordered the sandwich when I said smoked salmon). The sandwich was pretty good and healthy, it was served with wheat-grain bread.
Ambience: The cafe is really cute and nice, I really like how there were a lot of different tables and ways to sit. There are also a lot of outlets and I didn't have any problems with the wifi. The only problem is after 12PM the cafe gets really loud and quite crowded, which is expected. People come here to have their...

The food is all home made of course, including - more surprisingly - the bead! And it can absolutely challenge some french bakery (truste me, I'm french!)
It all comes down to one thing : dedication. Once I learnt boom is actually a family business run by two brother, it all made sens. Boom is not another coffee place run from an office, it's dedication,...

Staff/barista all grumpy looking, no smile of any kind though the visit. Female staff that took our order has a really sour and lethargic look on her while tksing our order. Service was lack lustre and without enthusiasm.
Pourover and flat white order taste OK. Don't really like the mug used for the brew, as it resembles a large saucer with a tiny winy handle.
Slick and cool vibe with the typical cafe industrial interior, but lacks character.
Overall, it was an OK visit but there are better options especially on the...
