I would like to share feedback regarding a recent visit my companion and I made to your establishment.
We had a reservation for two and arrived to find the venue almost empty. Upon entering, we informed the young hostess that we would like to dine. She showed us to a couch area, but we kindly asked if we could be seated at a proper dining table instead. She agreed, and led us to another area — which again turned out to be a couch. We assumed she may not have understood our request, so we decided to sit down.
She offered us water and we began browsing the menu. Shortly after, she returned and informed us that there was a minimum charge of 6,000 New Taiwan Dollars per person — totaling 12,000 for the two of us. We were quite surprised, as there was no mention of this on the menu, nor were we informed of it when we arrived. Given the price and lack of transparency, we decided to leave immediately and instead dined at a Japanese Wagyu restaurant nearby — at one-third of the cost.
This experience left us with the impression that the high price may have been an attempt to compensate for the lack of other guests. We found it misleading and disappointing, especially considering how it was communicated.
We hope this feedback will be taken constructively to improve the clarity and professionalism of customer communication...
Read moreReally chill wine bar with many high end wine options from France, Spain, Italy, US, and elsewhere. Lots of comfortable seating and plenty of bar space. You can get there decent house wine or go to cellar to order a bottle, which range in price from $1200 to over $30K for the most high end wines. I just went with a house red from France and the meat and cheese platter and enjoyed the vibes for a couple of hours while doing some work. They played jazz music in the background which was not too loud and the staff was attentive and pleasant. I will definitely come again, but imagine it will be more crowded on a weekend (I went on a Monday night and was one of perhaps a handful of...
Read moreThe atmosphere here was good. They offered delicious foods. What’s more, the staff there were nice! The best recommended bistro in Taipei! The prices of red wines and white wines were reasonable. Although the total price was pricy, I still like it. We reserved a box of a price of 8000 dollars on the second floor. I think if you are going to go there, reserving the boxes on the second floor has more privacy and more quiet than those boxes on the ground floor. And they got service bells on our table. That was so sweet of them, right? And the staff were so thoughtful. They would come upstairs to solve our problems as soon as they could. After COVID-19, I will go there again...
