Fried Calamari ($260): It’s served with the aioli sauce but I don’t like it too much. Therefore, I ask for ketchup and it is helpful and nice of the staff that he hands me that. The ketchup compliments the calamari so well, but itself is already very chewy, umami, and has crispy coating
Cinnamon Rolls with Ice Cream ($150): The rolls are well baked, contain some walnuts inside, and its flavour is authentic, rich and delicious. The ice cream somehow also makes the cinnamon rolls even more delightful.
Fruit Sparkling ($110): You can make its flavour sweeter or more sour. I make it sweeter and it does taste sweet but a little watery and not too rich in flavour.
In conclusion, the restaurant seems small at first glance, but there are actually a few tables in the basement, whereas the internet reception can be poor. The prices are quite high, the 10% service charge is included but amazing service and delicious foods even though the fruit sparkling can be more flavourful. Overall, it’s a...

I loved their english breakfast , everything was so well seasoned and of high quality. Really appreciated their attention to detail. The portion is good and you get a variety of flavors on the plate, takes me back home to South African brekkies. Their ribs were smaller portion but super juicy, well flavored and fell right off the bone. Also came with nice crispy potato and side salad.
Their carrot cake is my top favorite I've had ever in the whole of Taiwan. Home made, was not too sweet and it was full of fun toppings like raisins, walnuts etc. They aren't stingy on portion with their tasty frosting either like most bakeries.
The highlight for me was the owner he's awesome and their team's warm hospitality. they were very gracious with allowing customizations based on preferences and allergies which is rare in Taipei city. They really made us feel welcome and appreciated us visiting...
Read moreSteak was overcooked, ribs were undercooked because they haven't heard of a meat thermometer (I actually asked if they used one and they hadn't heard of it). Also, the steak was low quality, too much fat, thin as a Havaiana slipper. They compensate for poor quality by loading up a lot of sides - we got quite a nice omelet with the steak and some decent potato wedges with the ribs, but the mains are really not worth what they charge.
They also have no idea what a caesar salad is supposed to be - ours had strips of luncheon meat in it, some solidified mayo, rice, no egg... it just wasn't a caesar salad.
Place looks too quiet and dull, on a Friday night you'd hope for better music and vibe. We actually passed near a TGI Friday's on the way over but wanted to try a more local business... we'd have probably paid similar prices and got much better food and atmosphere at TGIF. Only saving grace is the staff who are wonderful, polite, attentive. If only the...
