Wanted to try this place out for a while already and finally made a reservation. It’s a nice little spot and the atmosphere’s a bit dark inside. Not too many seatings, but doesn’t feel cramp. The kitchen’s right by the dining so you can see the chef’s cooking it up. All the food we order was pretty good. They did had a few items that wasn’t available. I wanted to try to oysters, but they didn’t have it so that was a bit disappointing. The scallops was cooked perfect and really enjoyed the beef tongue. The portion for the beef tongue was actually pretty good. The steak also came out really good. I see that they sous vide it so it’s hard to mess it up. It didn’t come with mash potato’s though. Just a few strings of asparagus. I would come back to try out their other items though. Their cocktails are also pretty good as well. All the staff was very helpful and friendly. The bartender hooked us up with two shots and was a really cool guy. Pricing’s a little above average, but food was not bad at all. All in all I would recommend to...
Read moreVery sad experience here with one of the worst cp value I’ve had in Taiwan, the mocktail with passion fruit was very bitter despite being full with ice. The Taiwanese burger was edible but too sweet and not balanced at all..average night market one would easly surpass it. the beef tongue was really bad, not sure if was the spice or just burnt but just plain bad flavor , at this point we were hoping to cancel the fillet with foei gras but was too late and all we can do is hope the last dish can salvage the meal but to no surprise the steak was over cooked and the flavor was bad, with overly rich sauce . They gave us a free ice cream (maybe saw our sad faces) and it wasn’t bad, decent dessert with ice cream and nuts. So if you go with your friends maybe stick to the ice cream . A bit shocked by the experience because we had semi high expectations since we really like their bbq branch . Every dish and the drink we got beside the dessert ...
Read moreThis was my first time trying out the restaurant. The food itself was delicious, with some creative ingredients and combinations that my friend and I really enjoyed. My friend really liked the mac & cheese (pic 2), and I really enjoyed the veggies dish (pic 3), so personally recommend both. However, if you’re a huge fan of 鴨肝, don’t recommend getting the 刈包 to taste the 鴨肝itself (the meat and spices and the dish itself was amazing, but the 鴨肝mousse taste won’t be that prominent). It is satisfying if you’re a big meat lover though. And about the portion sizes, if you’re a bigger eater, being full should be less of a priority than the taste; though my friend was satisfied, I was still craving some food after sharing 4 dishes + 1 drink. Overall, the food itself was still great, but just with some few points to...
