better off ordering a take-out pizza

Pizzeria Oggi is one of the few establishments in Taiwan that is certified by the AVPN (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana.

You get two styles of pizza: thin crust Roman pizza and Neapolitan pizza. The seemingly lack of cheese on the pizza is not the issue here. It’s actually the authentic Roman style. The issue is there’s no discerning to both of our orders of Neapolitan style and the Roman style. Tomato sauce was all funk and skunk.

Clam pasta and wings were ok but again, nothing you can’t order off from a pizza delivery...

We had a good wood-fired pizza and salad here. BUT...

1. They took our wrong salad order, and gave us a more expensive salad than what we ordered, and charged us for that more expensive salad (which we realized only after leaving the restaurant)
2. Service was perfunctory, not friendly. In fact, the girl taking the order was impatient hence why she got our salad order wrong.
3. Pizza dough texture was great but EXTREMELY stingy with ingredients. We ordered a bacon pizza but it only had small morsels of bacon bits on each pizza slice.

In Taiwanese terms, this restaurant offers...

Our expectations were high coming here knowing that they are certified by the AVPN which not many places are in Taiwan. Unfortunately we left pretty disappointed.

As an avid pizza lover, their pizza was just not made very well. The texture of the tough was below average and the toppings was minimal.

The pasta taste balance was off, and the taste pretty sour.

Service was probably the worst part, waiter felt very disinterested in being there, and felt everytime we called for service he was doing us a favor.
