STARBUCKS RESERVE Longmen Shop — Restaurant in Da'an District

A year ago I gave this place 3 stars, but I come back to revise that. Because the staff are great. Once, I was in a hurry and received a hot drink instead of the iced one I ordered. I didn't have time to get a new one made so I just told them to give it to me and left. The next time I went back, over a week later, they remembered the mix-up and my drink that day was on the house. It was a pleasant surprise and I realized I've actually been going here for three years now and they know me, and all the staff are always incredibly nice.

It's a good place to work from when you're in this area. You'll find some stairs that lead to a bit elevated floor where there is some table with plugs, so ideal for working with a laptop. The internet is quite sketchy, normal seeing the number of people here, so make sure to be able to hotspot from your phone. Took the chicken pasta which good but a bit small. My other great alternative to work from is Homey's cafe, 5minutes...

The usual Starbucks: coffee and food are alright, and the music is pleasant and not disturbing if one wants to study or to work. This particular location is not too crowded, the service is quick, and the AC is not excessively strong. There are some tables close to the large windows if one wants to stay in a sunny place, and a darker part inside. The staff is friendly...
