TOUCH WOOD — Restaurant in Da'an District

Touch Wood is my favourite burger restaurant in Taipei! I have not tried the other dishes yet but the burgers are amazing, especially the Peanut Butter Beef Burger!

When ordering a burger you can choose different sets where a drink and fries/ spicy chicken/ dessert is included. The drinks taste and look really good. The spicy chicken is very crispy and not too spicy and most of the desserts were really good. I can recommend the Molten Lava Brownie!

Usually there is some Date Night Music playing inside. The staff is really friendly and the place overall looks nice.

The only thing that confuses me are the wine bottles in which the water is served. I personally think that it would be nicer if the stickers on the bottles were removed completely or if the stickers were at least clean and new.

Came here for brunch today. Nice menu, got a table quite easily and ordered our food using their QR code system. The food itself was ok. I had a panini which was fine and my wife had a Dan Bing and fried chicken. The fried chicken appeared to be a piece of McDonald's fried chicken. It looked, smelt and tasted exactly like mcdonalds. The main complaint for this place was the speed of service. We waited 45 minutes to get our food. Yes it was busy but that's still quite long. Had my doubts (the photos on Google really don't do them any justice), but yeah, easily the BEST burger in Taiwan after a year here. The meat is good quality and the cheese is a savory blast of decadent gooey-ness. Excellent value if you get it with the Fries/Drink combo (incl. drinks up to 70NTD but you can pay the difference for more expensive drinks).
