Yangming Spring Creative (Pure Vegan Life) Vegetarian Cuisine - Zhongxiao Branch — Restaurant in Da'an District

I stopped by this place during my evening jog last night. I liked the staff and the fresh salad bar so I came back for lunch today with my hubby. Super cute spot if you want to dine in & do a little shopping too. They don’t offer that much on fresh produce but they do have a bunch of vegan snacks. Their freezer section has a lot of interesting vegan items like skewers, patties. They also do make other items like overnight oats & chia seed cups (made with coconut milk). They looked really good but I didn’t get them because it has added cane sugar in it. I do love their fresh lettuce. It tastes super fresh. Heir lion’s mane mushroom is super tasty! Wanted to try a vegetarian restaurant and stumbled across this one. We ordered the lion mane steak with black truffle soup, green thai curry beef and the baked cauliflower. Every dish came with surprising flavour. Really like the green curry beef which had a lot of different ingredients in it. The baked cauliflower was also interesting, served on like an escargot platter. It tasted like a mayonnaise cheese baked. We went for the seasonal degustation menu and were very impressed. Much creativity and care went into presenting a fresh and interesting range of flavours and textures, and we tasted Lion’s Mane mushroom (猴頭菇）for the first time: it was delicious! Service was excellent. Our lovely waitress spoke Chinese slowly (so we could follow) and gave us a good explanation of each dish and the ingredients.
