Honestly coffee was awesome but my experience there could have been better if the service was better. Ok first, the ceiling fans are annoying. It was like 6 pm where most customers left for dinner. I was there with a laptop working, and asked for a table without the fan blowing directly over my head. I pointed to a table for 4 and I got a reply from one of the staff there saying because I was alone so they had to put me in the back of the room. They gave me a table for 4 but it had the annoying fan over my head. I don't get why they wouldn't let me have the table I want when it was 6 pm where everyone was gone for dinner and only like 2-3 tables of the cafe were occupied ! There were plenty of tables! I’m getting sticker shock for coffee here in Taipei Haven’t paid so much for equivalent cups of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe or Costa Rican Tarrazu even in Tokyo or Seoul. Here, my coffee alone was 400 NTD! Yes, it was very good, however. I was also surprised by arriving on a Sunday morning at 11:00 and being told I should have made a reservation…for a coffee shop!!
