This is one of the high end Japanese charcoal grilled wagyu beef restaurant. Before I came I had some reservation about how good this restaurant really is. But after I taste it their wagyu beef. It is worth the trip. I hope next time they bring out the salad first before the first wagyu beef is served. As many of you know that the true wagyu beef is very fattening and if you eat it by itself you probably could not eat another one because the aftertaste is too oily. But the salad they serve combined with the wagyu beef makes it acceptable and you can continue to eat it.
What I also like is the fact that they use wood charcoal to grill the beef which it gives you an umami flavor that the gas grill cannot give you. The Fresh Live lobster was great because they steamed it so that it keeps the lobster umami flavor in the shell and you could taste the sweetness of the lobster.
The Uni is very fresh and has the sweetness along with the umami flavor of uni.

Read moreI was amazed by this Wagyu beef restaurant. The service was excellent, and the food met the highest standards. We thought we would never get full, but we were wrong. The menu features a wide variety of Wagyu, along with appetizers, side dishes, pasta, soup, and desserts. The staff member, Ah Lin, who helped and served us by grilling the meat, was exceptionally professional and friendly. He did his job exceptionally well and absolutely takes great pride in his work.
Overall, we were extremely satisfied with the food, the ambiance, and especially the outstanding service provided by Ah Lin. Anyone visiting Taipei should definitely give this place a try! I will certainly return when I visit...

My friend and I were satisfied with their culinary skill, you can experience the initial taste of wagyu with a little pinch of salt; moreover, the quality of the scallop and sea urchin were high enough to compete with what I have tried in Japan, even though 蘭亭 is a restaurant known for providing the best wagyu.
