Our strategy? Trust Google's wisdom – any place with over 3 stars and 100 reviews was our target. That's how we landed at 許二姊. The menu? Duck blood and duck over noodles and rice. Amazingly good rice noodles(米粉）, along with a scrumptious plate of duck blood （炒鴨血）

The duck blood was spicy, which is nice. I'm not entirely sure if this was by default or not, but it was good nonetheless.

The rice noodles were the best I have tried so far (after 5 years of living in Taiwan). Coming from hualien (花蓮） I can definitely confirm that Hsinchu is the place to go if you want to have the best rice...

Duck meat was good but the noodle was soggy. Environment was not clean. Hygiene was very questionable. Staff touch food containers immediately after touching the garbage can..... The containers are put onto trolleys and then put on top of duck blood cake..... Veggie was so expansive $65 (and very spicy!). Store was very crowded. People were still lining up after 2:30pm. Almost every table...
