Stopped by this small café while waiting for our train. Each patron has to order a drink or pastry. We ordered iced passion fruit Americano, iced matcha latte (added sugar), Hualien black tea, and cinnamon roll.
Serving time took a while (~20min) because it was a one-man show by the owner, but we didn’t mind.
Drinks were all so-so. Americano was our least favourite. It was sweet and somewhat sour, but we didn’t enjoy the passion fruit and coffee pairing. Matcha latte was very milky, not to my liking as it felt too overpowering, though ymmv. Hualien black tea was quite basic, nothing special.
Our favourite was definitely the cinnamon roll! Very fragrant and delicious. It was heated up before serving, but I felt that it could be warmer. Toppings included cream cheese glaze and honey drizzle. As a cinnamon roll lover I approve :D

Ordered matcha latte and it was way too sweet. The drink was boiling hot and it took a long time to cool down. Cinnamon rolls were hard and dry. Would not recommend the earl grey latte too as it was too bland in taste, no sweetness at all. Really needs some improvement in making the drinks.
