Overall, enjoyable lunch. Having some experience with Singaporean food, here’s an honest take: Hainan Chicken Rice - good, but not amazing. Flavour is there, missing some depth. Shrimp cake - excellent, my favourite dish of the meal Kaya toast - oh-Kay. Too much butter, not enough kaya on one of the slices. Bread was toasted well. Satay- have to say, quite disappointed. The satay sauce did not hit the spot and was way too little for the 6 skewers we ordered. Meat did not taste very fresh and was slightly over marinated. Teh tarik and Thai milk tea were alright.
