迷路小章魚 高雄店 — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

Decor is modern and comfortable although there is a bit of echo. Service is exceptional. For starter, we ordered cuttlefish with green beans which was bland. We also had a second starter which was braised oxtail on garlic bread which lacked depth (was expecting rich and sticky oxtail). For main course, we ordered duck confit on truffle and wild mushroom risotto; the rice wasn’t Arborio or carnaroli rice, there was no truffle aroma, although the duck confit was the best tonight. The other main course was the Piccolo Polpo style seafood stew, the broth was flavorful but the seafood was obviously not cooked together making them flavorless. I would not recommend this restaurant as the price and quality...

Been here a handful of times, gotta say the service is spotty and menu items are hit or miss. Stick to the pasta, usually pretty safe with pasta, sometimes even brilliant. Skip the duck risotto. Got the lamb with Spatzle, spatzle was mega salty, dropped a piece of lamb on it and it turned super salty. Finally got a servers attention and they got the chef to remake the spatzle, this time "no salt at all". Sparkling water kept with the wine, served Luke warm. I had dinner at Ken ting which was amazing. But the Kaohsiung branch was OK. Soup were very watery consider its called 濃湯，focaccia bread was simply a thick slice of toast. (Common. ) Ceviche was ok.
