Read moreThis used to be my go to place for vegan food with great gluten free options. They had soy sauce that didn’t contain wheat and an amazing kung pao mushroom dish that wasn’t breaded.
Well, apparently a customer complained so they changed the recipe to now have wheat! Ugh!!! And they changed their soy sauce to one that also contains wheat. It’s so frustrating that one of my favorite restaurants is now a place I can’t eat! Very sad as it was one of the only places in Kaohsiung I could enjoy eating out. Won’t be going back!

我們是有看過評論才決定來消費的,不知道是我們運氣不好還是怎樣。我們原本是抱著期待來的,畢竟素餐廳都值得支持。但是這一次讓我們失望透頂。
店員/店長態度極度惡劣,除沒有基本禮貌外,還不停以命令式語氣要求我們點她指定的餐點,即使我們已再三表示「我們先看看再決定」,她亦堅持繼續,並重覆至少3遍,「強迫」客人點她的指定菜色,而不是讓客人自己考慮。第一次碰到點餐沒有自由的餐廳,整個用餐過程一直讓人感到壓力。另一位上菜的店員則很正常。
這一次讓我們感受很差。消費數千元,還需付10%服務費,沒有服務也就算了,還要被當作是下屬般對待,不說以為我自己才是服務員。
We decided to dine here after reading many positive reviews, so we came with high expectations. As a vegetarian restaurant, we believed it was worth supporting. Unfortunately, this experience left us extremely disappointed.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but after careful consideration, I feel compelled to give just one star. That one star goes to the chef—the food itself was quite good.
However, the attitude of the staff, particularly the manager, was shockingly poor. Not only was there a complete lack of basic courtesy, but the manager repeatedly and forcefully insisted that we order dishes she specifically recommended. Even after we clearly stated several times, “We’d like to take a look first,” she ignored our responses and insisted again and again—at least three times—that we order what she wanted us to.
It felt like we had no freedom or choice in ordering, which created a very uncomfortable and pressured dining experience. One of the other staff members who served the food was perfectly polite, which makes it clear that the issue was with the manager.
This visit left a deeply negative impression. We spent several thousand NT dollars and were still charged a 10% service fee. Not only was there no service to speak of, but we were treated more like subordinates than guests. At times, I honestly felt like I was the one doing...
