Mumu kitchen is a cozy little gem in Kaohsiung that's perfect if you're looking for something homey and delicious. The food is simple in the best way, with fresh ingredients, well-cooked, and full of flavor. I had the scramble on sourdough and it was fantastic. The eggs were soft and creamy, the sourdough had a nice crunch, and everything was seasoned just right.

The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, with a clean, minimal design that makes you want to slow down and enjoy your meal. The staff were friendly and patient, even with my limited Mandarin, which I really appreciated.

There’s a parking lot nearby, which makes things convenient if you're driving. It can still get a little busy around mealtimes, but finding a spot shouldn’t be too hard.

Could have been a five star. Food: Good food and thoughtfull ingredient selection with fresh ingredients. Service: Great explanation of the menu in english. Getting a table was tricky as there is a qr code scan requirement to get in line. The reason for the 3 stars is because we were asked to pay ahead of our lunch and other tables were not. I ordered a burger with fries and a dessert. The dessert and apple juice were simple yet delicious. However, I'm a bit skeptical about the burger. The flavors are good, but the portion of fries seems more suitable for a child. Additionally, the steak was tough as leather. Fresh ground beef should be cooked rare or medium-rare, not tough like leather. A bit disappointed with the burger overall.
